This pandemic has thrown most early intervention providers into tele-practice. We will explore the practice of Tele-Intervention and share a brief update on state policy and some recent research. The use of a few different coaching approaches during tele-intervention will be discussed. It seems that some form of Tele-Intervention will be here to stay; we will end the presentation with a call to participants to share their ideas about strategies for tele-intervention going forward.
Learning Objects:

  • Define tele-intervention (TI)
  • Review of some of mandates, funding and practice suggestions surrounding tele-intervention
  • Explain coaching strategies that early intervention providers can use in TI
