Coach2Coach is back! After a lengthy hiatus, we're excited to reconnect, reflect, and refresh our caregiver coaching practices as we begin the new year! Join us for this interactive, two-hour workshop as we watch new, authentic home-visit footage and engage in collaboration, reflection, discussion, and hands-on coaching practice. Together, we'll identify effective coaching strategies, celebrate strengths, explore opportunities to deepen caregiver engagement, and identify areas for continued growth.
Through shared observations and practical exercises, we'll problem-solve common coaching challenges, practice coaching conversations, and develop individualized, routines-based home-practice plans that support meaningful caregiver engagement and learning between visits.
Whether you're new to Coach2Coach or a returning participant, we welcome you to this supportive event of learners! Live participation is strongly encouraged to maximize opportunities for discussion and practice, but asynchronous access will also be available for those unable to attend.
Learning Objectives: By the end of the session, participants will be able to:
- Engage in the coaching process through the use of reflection, problem solving, observation, and strengths-based feedback.
- Identify opportunities and strategies to elicit caregiver practice within the context of additional family routines.
- Develop individualized, routines-based home-practice plans that reflect family priorities, promote caregiver engagement, and support children's learning within everyday activities.
