CA Budget Compromise Reached

Governor Newsom, President pro Tempore Mike McGuire and Speaker of the Assembly Robert Rivas announced Saturday that a compromise has been reached regarding the California budget.

One of the compromises for the Department of Developmental Services budget is that the rate implementation will have a 6 month delay instead of 1 year. "Department of Developmental Services Provider Pay Delay—Delays implementation of increased provider pay by six months to January 1, 2025."
