ACTION ALERT: Tell the Senate – NO CUTS to Medicaid!
On May 22nd, the House of Representatives passed the “Big Beautiful Bill Act” -- and with it, devastating cuts to Medicaid totaling over $800 billion. If passed and signed into law, this bill would result in the largest cut to Medicaid in history, with over 13 million people losing their healthcare.
We know this news is disappointing -- but this is NOT the end of the fight. The bill now moves to the Senate. Your Senators are home for recess from May 24, 2025 – June 3, 2025 and again from June 7, 2025 – June 23, 2025.
This is a good opportunity to make your voice heard. Several Republican Senators have already expressed their deep reservations about cuts to Medicaid. All Senators need to hear from their constituents now.
What You Can Do: Review the Importance of Medicaid to Early Intervention
Contact your Senator Alex Padilla: (202) 224-3553 Senator Adam Schiff: (202) 224-384 and tell them: Don’t cut Medicaid.
